SUMMARY:5-day course for advanced pianists with Dr. Vedrana Subotic - waiting list
DESCRIPTION:Explore the four main eras of Western classical music with a 5-day course dedicated to the unique style and technique required to deliver a stylistically true performance in each. \nDo you love playing Chopin\, but lack confidence to play Mozart? Would you love the challenge of learning a Baroque piece when you usually stick to Beethoven? Do you want to gain a greater understanding of the bigger musical picture and how each era’s music influenced and evolved into the next? \nThis 5-day course for advanced players aims to dedicate a day to Baroque\, Classical\, Romantic and 20th Century piano music under the expert guidance of award-winning Steinway artist\, Professor-Lecturer of Music at the University of Utah\, visiting Professor of Piano at the University of Chile and President of the World Piano Teachers Association USA Dr. Vedrana Subotic. \nOur 5-day courses are a well established highlight of the Finchcocks calendar. To ensure a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere\, places are open to those who have attended at least one weekend Finchcocks course previously. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLike our weekend courses\, formal tuition takes place in workshops\, performance classes and one-to-one lessons. \nWe recommend that guests prepare 4 pieces for the performance masterclasses\, bringing with them one from each – Baroque\, Classical\, Romantic and 20th Century eras. We realise this is quite a big ask for advanced players\, given the hours of dedication needed to prepare for a performance ready piece. Performance in every masterclass is not mandatory. Even preparing a piece in private will help contextualise the workshop and open-lessons better! \n\n\nOver the course of her vibrant and multi-faceted musical career\, pianist Vedrana Subotic has distinguished herself as an internationally acclaimed concert artist\, pedagogue\, and chamber musician. Subotic’s performances have been lauded by critics and audiences for both “fierce playing and impressive chops” (Salt Lake Tribune)\, and “nuanced and expressive playing\, beautifully phrased lines\, and a wonderfully light touch.” (Deseret News). Artists of Utah described her recent performance of Schubert PianoTrio No.2 as “one of the most intuitively verdant and emotionally draining performance of any of Franz Schubert’s compositions that I have ever heard\, live or on a recording…truly astonishing.” \nSubotic\, a Steinway Artist\, maintains a busy concert and masterclass schedule with over 60 engagements in North and South America\, Europe\, and Asia every year. She has performed more than 500 works in the solo\, chamber\, and concerto genres\, including the 32 piano sonatas\, and complete chamber works with piano by Beethoven. Her most recent live-streamed concert performance of works by Brahms\, Schubert\, and Piazzolla received over 160K views. \nSubotic is an award-winning Professor-Lecturer of Music at the University of Utah\, and a Visiting Professor of Piano at the University of Chile. She serves as the newly appointed President of the World Piano Teachers Association USA\, Executive Director of the USA Chapter Conference\, and as the Music Director (2002-present) of INTERMEZZO Concert Series based in Salt Lake City\, Utah. Subotic is the founding member of the Intermezzo Piano Trio\, and the state president for the Utah chapter of ALS (American Liszt Society). \nThis will be Vedrana’s third course at Finchcocks and we can’t to welcome her back! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs usual\, everyone will have access to their own grand piano for the week including our new Steinway\, and have plenty of time to practise in our vaulted piano cellar. \nWe’ll also have a bit of fun! We’ll explore the private gardens at Finchcocks\, experience a local wine tasting\, be able to go for beautiful Kentish countryside walks to Scotney castle and enjoy a session or two in the family’s new heated outdoor swimming pool\, weather and temperature permitting. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAnd of course\, it goes without saying that you can expect the usual! \nGuests will: \n\nHave the chance to play in and observe multiple performance masterclasses.\nWill receive one-to-one lessons with Vedrana.\nEnjoy access to play on our 9 grand pianos anytime between 7am and 8pm. (There are enough pianos to go round that everyone can play a piano at any given time.)\nHave the chance to take part in a recital on the Bosendorfer in the main hall of the family home.\nJoin and socialise with a group 8 fellow piano enthusiasts during lunch and dinner.\nDine in style with lunches and three course dinners prepared by our fabulous chef.\nExperience the Finchcocks bubble\, hailed as a “paradise for pianists” by BBC Music Magazine and stay in a grade 1 listed country manor.\n\nPlus ones are very welcome on our courses\, with a room surcharge dependant on whether they are a playing or non-playing guest. Please ask for further details. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis is a unique\, luxury UK-based piano gem and an experience that you won’t forget anytime soon. Many guests continue friendships made on these courses\, encouraging each other on in the piano playing on Whatsapp\, organising private piano meet ups further down the line… and bumping into each other again on future courses! \nFor booking enquiries\, please contact Jenny on 01580 428080 or fill in the form below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	5 day courses\n\n	from £1400 (inclusive of accommodation\, tuition and all food and wine)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n Your Name (required)\n \n \n Your Email (required)\n \n \n Please tell us which course are you interested in\, your room preference(s) and a little bit about your playing experience to date:

SUMMARY:Chopin weekend with Warren Mailley-Smith - mixed ability - waiting list
DESCRIPTION:Back by very popular demand\, this will be our fifth Chopin weekend here at Finchcocks with Warren Mailley-Smith. \nChopin’s lyrical and elegant Nocturnes and Preludes are firm favourites with our intermediate and advanced players\, and so we’re very excited to announce the return of our very popular first composer-specific weekend. \nWe’re incredibly lucky to have secured the services of Warren Mailley-Smith for this course. In 2016\, Warren became the first British pianist to perform Chopin’s complete works for solo piano from memory at a series of concerts at St John Smith’s Square in London\, a feat which involved memorising 3.5 million notes! \n \nOver the course of the weekend\, Warren will explore and demonstrate both the technical aspects of playing Chopin’s music\, as well as sessions on how to perform Chopin’s music to the best of our ability. \nHe’ll explain why Chopin sounds like Chopin and show us how Chopin intended us to play his pieces. In the masterclass sessions\, we’ll look at developing phrasing and articulation\, with plenty of tips on performance and how to polish our pieces and make them sound as natural and elegant as possible. \nWorkshop titles will include: \n\nThe importance of “cantabile” in piano playing Chopin\n Tips for playing Chopin\n\nGuests will also: \n\nHave the chance to play in and observe two performance masterclasses.\nWill receive a one-to-one lesson with Warren.\nEnjoy access to play on our 9 grand pianos anytime between 7am and 8pm. (There are enough pianos to go round that everyone can play a piano at any given time.)\nExperience a private recital for course participants in the main hall of the family home\, performed by Warren.\nJoin and socialise with a group 8 fellow piano enthusiasts during lunch and dinner.\nDine in style with lunches and three course dinners prepared by our fabulous chef.\nExperience the Finchcocks bubble\, hailed as a “paradise for pianists” by BBC Music Magazine and stay in a grade 1 listed country manor.\n\nPlus ones are very welcome on our courses\, with a room surcharge dependant on whether they are a playing or non-playing guest. Please ask for further details. \n \nYou can see Warren in action at Finchcocks when he did a recording session with Classic FM recently. \nIn the evening on Saturday\, Warren will give a salon-style Chopin recital (just as Chopin would have done!) especially for course guests\, and combining music from various points in his life with a biographical commentary that will help us understand the underlying emotions found in Chopin’s music. \n \nIn between the workshop and masterclass sessions there will be time for private practice on one of our beautiful grand pianos including our new Steinway. During these sessions\, Warren will give individual lessons to guests\, offering pointers and tips on the repertoire they are working on. \n \nThe course is intended for intermediate to advanced players who are keen to bring their favourite works by Chopin to life. It might well be that there’s a prelude that you’ve been struggling with for years that you would desperately like to perfect\, or equally there might be a Waltz that you have always wanted to play\, but haven’t yet had the chance to really work on. Budding Chopin devotees\, this is your moment! \nFor booking enquiries\, please contact us on 01580 428080 or fill in the form below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Weekend courses\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	from £650 (inclusive of accommodation\, food\, wine and tuition)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n Your Name (required)\n \n \n Your Email (required)\n \n \n Which course date(s) are you interested in?\n \n \n Playing level / experience (required)\n \n \n Room price band:\nPlease selectClassic (standard)Considerable (large)Old Dairy (with own piano)\n\n \n Other room preferences: (please select most important one and we'll try to our best to accommodate)\nPlease selectEnsuiteWalk-in showerBath2nd floor3rd floorI'm easy!\n\n \n Please tell us anything else that you think would be helpful:

To ensure a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere\, places are open to those who have attended at least one weekend Finchcocks course previously. \n\n\n“I am hoping to offer you a comprehensive course that will give you an holistic perspective over your development as a pianist\, and highlight key aspects that must be addressed\, and options on how to deal with them. \nWe will start by looking at practical issues – learning to decipher the music that we study by decoding the written score\, finding concrete ways of bringing to live during performances all the written signs and indications\, and also by looking at how the broader context of each composition determines its spirit\, and finding ways to interpret that as a key towards to heart of the music. I am hoping to inspire you to achieve this in a vivid and living way\, not as a dry act of decryption. \nWe will move on to discussing how to organise your learning best\, making sure that you are taking care of your technical development\, with ideas of how to achieve this through as varied means as possible (involving exercises\, etudes\, and carefully selected pieces that will gently stretch your ability)\, as well as accumulating repertoire\, and fundamentally\, getting to learn the music that you love and cherish. \nWe will study Beethoven simply because he started a tradition of music notation. Understanding his language will unlock for us the ability to understand almost all composers that followed him. We will then be discussing the concept of ‘the composer’s intentions’. Following my presenting some arguments\, involving historical and practical facts\, I look forward to this becoming a free discussion\, in which we all share our views towards this controversial topic. \nThe time we spend at the piano is very precious and limited\, so we need to make the best use of it. During our third workshop\, I am keen to offer you a potential studying structure\, leading to more efficient learning. Whilst I cannot promise to offer a solution out of the necessity to practise consistently\, I believe I can propose healthy learning mechanisms and practice methods that will not only lead you to the desired result more quickly\, but will also make practising fun\, exciting\, and interesting. \nTowards the end of the course\, we will be delving into the wider topic of how to progress\, how to choose appropriate repertoire for each stage of our development\, and how to move away from the clearly structured environment of grade examinations in a carefully controlled manner\, avoiding learning random pieces that may not be suitable for your goals. \nFinally\, I would love to share my take on the idea of nerves and performance anxiety. I have done battle with this for years now and\, in the process\, I have acquired concrete techniques that have helped me cope and regain my confidence. I believe you may also find these helpful\, and the workshop will involve both a lecture/presentation\, and some quick exercises to get you going. \nAll this of course will be the backdrop for our daily masterclasses and lessons. I look forward to us working together on the music that you are learning\, and I will tailor my teaching to whatever stage of learning you are at\, regardless of whether you are just starting out on a new piece of music\, or whether you are getting ready for a forthcoming piano group performance\, an informal concert\, or an examination. The key to this course will be our shared love for music and for life-long learning. With this in mind\, I look forward to an exciting and galvanising week.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLike our weekend courses\, formal tuition takes place in workshops\, performance classes and one-to-one lessons. \nThis courses focuses will be: \n\nWorkshop 1: Discovering the language of Beethoven – Beethoven started a tradition of notating music that has perpetuated to our days. Analysing in depth how to bring to live a Beethoven score will unlock our capacity to understand and learn almost all music written after him.\nWorkshop 2: The composer’s intentions – What are they? Can we really know them? Do we have a duty to follow them?\nWorkshop 3: Learning to learn – a closer look at the process of taking a piece from scratch to performance-ready level; looking at gaining healthy learning habits and making our practising more efficient.\nWorkshop 4: Life beyond the grades – what does one do after Grade 8? How do we go forward\, how do we choose which pieces to learn? Diplomas – any point in taking them? Finding a balanced way of keeping music as part of our lives\, and most importantly\, keeping progressing in our musicianship level beyond the structured environment of the grades.\nWorkshop 5: Responding to nerves – learning key techniques for dealing with crippling nerves.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs usual\, everyone will have access to their own grand piano for the week including our new Steinway\, and have plenty of time to practise in our vaulted piano cellar. \nWe’ll also have a bit of fun! We’ll explore the private gardens at Finchcocks\, experience a local wine tasting\, be able to go for beautiful Kentish countryside walks to Scotney castle and enjoy a session or two in the family’s new heated swimming pool\, weather permitting. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAnd of course\, it goes without saying that you can expect the usual! \nGuests will: \n\nHave the chance to play in and observe multiple performance masterclasses.\nWill receive one-to-one lessons with Florian.\nEnjoy access to play on our 9 grand pianos anytime between 7am and 8pm. (There are enough pianos to go round that everyone can play a piano at any given time.)\nExperience a salon-style concert performed by Florian exclusively for guests.\nHave the chance to take part in a recital on the Bosendorfer in the main hall of the family home.\nJoin and socialise with a group 8 fellow piano enthusiasts during lunch and dinner.\nDine in style with lunches and three course dinners prepared by our fabulous chef.\nExperience the Finchcocks bubble\, hailed as a “paradise for pianists” by BBC Music Magazine and stay in a grade 1 listed country manor.\n\nPlus ones are very welcome on our courses\, with a room surcharge dependant on whether they are a playing or non-playing guest. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	5 day courses\n\n	from £1400 (inclusive of accommodation\, tuition and all food and wine)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n Your Name (required)\n \n \n Your Email (required)\n \n \n Please tell us which course are you interested in\, your room preference(s) and a little bit about your playing experience to date:\n \n \n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n...

SUMMARY:Exploring the romantics with Warren Mailley-Smith - mixed ability - waiting list
DESCRIPTION:A course devoted to the most luxurious and indulgent of piano repertoire – exploring the romantics! \nThis exciting period spans from mid-Beethoven to Rachmaninov (and beyond) and encapsulates an enormous amount of piano music. We are spoiled for choice\, as anything from a gentle John Field Nocturne\, or Schubert Impromptu\, to a Brahms Rhapsody\, Liszt Etude or a Rachmaninov Prelude\, will hit the spot. Romantic music pushed emotional expression to the fore and saw composers making their music deliberately more expressive and descriptive\, pushing the boundaries of the piano to new heights. The qualities make their music especially rewarding and exciting to play. \nAs broad the repertoire\, so the ability required to play it! This course suits anyone from intermediate level through to advanced. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBoth days begin with a specialised workshop delving into the course theme\, setting students up for a day’s focussed study! \nWorkshop titles for this course will include: \n\nExploring The Great Romantics: a survey of the highlights of the repertoire\nEquip your technique for tackling the Romantics\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn between the workshop and masterclass sessions there will be time for private practice on one of our beautiful grand pianos. During these sessions\, our tutor will give one-to-one lessons on our new Steinway to provide individual pointers and tips. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe’re incredibly lucky to have secured the services of Warren Mailley-Smith for this course. SUMMARY:5-day Spring School for Advanced Pianists with Graham Fitch
DESCRIPTION:2023 sees the addition of three very different 5-day courses for advanced pianists. The first is dedicated especially (but not exclusively) to those preparing for a diploma performance\, providing a concentrated boost for those attending – to study\, practise\, polish and improve performance skills and experience. \nPreparing for a diploma or special performance is an excellent way to provide focus and structure to your piano practice as you work towards a goal. This provides an ideal opportunity for continued professional or personal development. On this course you can receive tuition and coaching on your programme. There will also be opportunities to practise performing your programme (or selections from it) to others in a safe and supportive environment\, either in the class or more informally in a small group. In addition to masterclasses\, there are workshops on how to prepare for performance\, strategies to cope with performance anxiety\, as well as clinics where we aim to solve practice and technical issues. Whether you are just embarking on the path\, about to sit your diploma or simply preparing for a recital at advanced level\, this course is for you. \nOur 5-day courses are a well established highlight of the Finchcocks calendar. To ensure a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere\, places are open to those who have attended at least one weekend Finchcocks course previously. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLike our weekend courses\, formal tuition takes place in workshops\, performance classes and one-to-one lessons. \nThis course’s focuses will be: \n\nPreparing for a Performance: Strategies for Structuring Your Practice\nOvercoming Performance Anxiety\nClinic: Solving Technical and Musical Problems in Your Pieces\nMemorisation and Deep Learning Techniques\nPractising a Performance: Building Stamina and Resilience into your Programme.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis 5-day course aims to offer guests as much performance experience as possible. The opportunity to play on the family Bosendorfer in the main hall is a highlight of the diploma course and leaves the whole group on a real high afterwards! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs usual\, everyone will have access to their own grand piano for the week including our new Steinway\, and have plenty of time to practise in our vaulted piano cellar. \nGuests will: \n\nHave the chance to play in and observe multiple performance masterclasses.\nWill receive one-to-one lessons with Graham.\nEnjoy access to play on our 9 grand pianos anytime between 7am and 8pm. SUMMARY:Lower intermediate weekend with David Hall - sold out
DESCRIPTION:Many of us played the piano whilst at school\, but didn’t get quite as far as we’d hoped. Some of us missed out entirely. \nThis course is designed for adult pianists returning to the piano after a gap of a few years (or decades!). It would also suit anyone who has recently taken up the piano and is playing at around grades 2 – 4 level. In fact\, you might have come across this page\, having followed David Hall’s free online beginner and intermediate courses\, launched to help people learn or hone a new skill during coronavirus lockdown! \nThe course will be taught by our wonderful musical director David Hall. The aim of the lower intermediate weekend is for guests to leave Finchcocks with a solid foundation on which to continue their piano journey\, be inspired by some new techniques\, confident and encouraged in the progress they have already made in their piano playing. \n“The course approach is professional but gentle: it’s completely bespoke to your level\, but without the pressure of performance.” ~ James (Google review)\n \nEach day typically starts with a workshop in the Finchcocks recital room. In the afternoons\, there is time for private practice on one of our beautiful acoustic grand pianos including our new Steinway and individual tuition from the tutor. \nWorkshops for this weekend will include: \n\nWorkshop 1: Top tips for practising \nPerformance Class 1: Top tips for performing \nWorkshop 2: Making a melody \nPerformance Class 2: Playing a melody \n\nIn the afternoon we’ll convene for a performance workshop\, which will provide tips on how to make the nicest sounds when playing. There is no pressure to play if you don’t feel ready\, but we aim to make the atmosphere as relaxed and encouraging as possible\, with David being known to ask a nervous player to just “begin with playing the last note”! \nAt 7pm on Saturday\, we have a pre-dinner talk or recital in the main hall of the family home. This is a chance for guests can sit back and relax with a glass of wine: After a full day’s concentration\, nothing beats hearing the course tutor inspiring guests with some current repertoire on the family Bosendorfer! \n \n“As one of the newest beginners\, the group was very supportive – everyone’s there to improve.” ~ Chris (Google review)\n\nOn a typical weekend course\, Finchcocks guests will: \n\nHave the chance to play in and observe two performance masterclasses and two workshops.\nReceive one-to-one input from tutor David during circulation in the free practice sessions.\nEnjoy access to play on our 9 grand pianos anytime between 7am and 8pm. (There are enough pianos to go round that everyone can play a piano at any given time.)\nEnjoy a private recital for course guests on Saturday evening in the main hall of Finchcocks.\nJoin and socialise with a group 8 fellow piano enthusiasts during lunch and dinner.\nDine in style with lunches and three course dinners prepared by our fabulous chef.\nExperience the Finchcocks bubble\, hailed as a “paradise for pianists” by BBC Music Magazine and stay in a grade 1 listed country manor.\n\nPlus ones are very welcome on our courses\, with a room surcharge dependant on whether they are a playing or non-playing guest. Please ask for further details. \n\n\nThis course is being run by David Hall (FRCO\, MA Cantab)\, who was described as a “musical powerhouse” when the Sunday Times came to review one of his courses at Finchcocks. Inspiration and encouragement are guaranteed! \nFor booking enquiries\, please contact Jenny on 01580 428080 or fill in the form below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Weekend courses\n\n	from £620 (inclusive of accommodation\, food\, wine and tuition)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n Your Name (required)\n \n \n Your Email (required)\n \n \n Please tell us which course are you interested in\, your room preference(s) and a little bit about your playing experience to date:\n \n \n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n...

SUMMARY:Beyond Stage Fright – Tackling performance nerves - Upper Intermediate - Advanced - sold out
DESCRIPTION:Beyond Stage Fright – Tackling performance nerves is designed for upper intermediate to advanced players\, those working towards grade 8 standard or a performance diploma. It is also suitable for piano teachers. \nRunning the weekend is the incredibly knowledgeable\, encouraging and warm Charlotte Tomlinson. A specialist\, international speaker on the topic\, and a pianist herself\, Charlotte will help guests work on an area that affects every performer\, but one that many don’t like to talk about. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nCharlotte’s theme for the weekend course will be “Performance preparation”; covering some of the key topics that relate to the challenges faced by advanced players when playing in front of others. \nCharlotte will tackle three key areas related to performing: \n\nManaging nerves – looking at how performance anxiety can arise and the possible psychological reasons behind it\, along with some simple practical tools to manage the anxiety better. This is followed by the opportunity to put the information into practice\, using a short extract from a piece to try to find freer and more enjoyable ways of managing tricky performance situations.\nOwning the stage – how to communicate well with an audience and feel comfortable on stage\nPractising for performance – how to prepare for a performance\, what to focus on and how to control the inner critic when practising and performing.\n\nEach day starts with a workshop in the Finchcocks cellars. Techniques are discussed\, demonstrated and developed with everyone encouraged to participate. No preparation is required\, and the exercises will be carefully adapted to the particular experience level of each participant. \n \nShortly afterwards\, we convene for a performace masterclass in the recital room\, which provides the chance to play your chosen repertoire in front of the group in a nurturing and relaxed atmosphere. \nIn the afternoons\, there is time for private practice on one of our beautiful grand pianos including our new Steinway and as well as an individual 30 minute private lesson with Charlotte. \n \nAt 7pm on Saturday guests have the treat of listening to a private recital with a glass of wine in Finchcocks main hall – a chance to sit back\, socialise\, relax and be inspired after all your hard work! \nOn a typical weekend course\, Finchcocks guests will: \n\nHave the chance to play in and observe two performance masterclasses and two workshops.\nReceive a one-to-one lesson from tutor Charlotte.\nEnjoy access to play on our 9 grand pianos anytime between 7am and 8pm. \nFor booking enquiries\, please contact Jenny on 01580 428080 or fill in the form below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Weekend courses\n\n	from £620 (inclusive of accommodation\, food\, wine and tuition)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n Your Name (required)\n \n \n Your Email (required)\n \n \n Please tell us which course are you interested in\, your room preference(s) and a little bit about your playing experience to date:\n \n \n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n...
