Alex Metcalfe performs Satie’s most important works, in character as the composer from the set of his Arceuil apartment. Sarah Miles’s script, edited from Satie’s own words, is narrated against the backdrop of Keith Lovegrove’s cinematic accompaniment.

Drinks on the lawn at 7pm, weather permitting, will precede the concert which will start at 8pm. The performance will be held in the main hall of Finchcocks manor house on our much-loved Bosendoerfer, and will be narrated in French with English subtitles. Tickets can be booked using the form below. Capacity is limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Wine and elderflower cordial will be provided before the performance from a donations bar. The performance, beginning at 8pm will last approximately 1 hour 15 mins without an interval.
