Coach House

and Old Dairy

Guests of the piano school are accommodated in our newly renovated 18th Century Coach House, which is connected to the main house via a meandering paved path through the north courtyard.

The rooms have period charm in abundance: arch windows, feeding troughs and oak beams are found throughout. Guests are welcome to read or study in the library on the first floor, whilst the large lounge downstairs is ideal for pre-dinner drinks and discussion of the day’s events. Wifi is available throughout.

Dinner is served in the Coach House dining room at 8pm immediately after our evening seminar, which is held in the main seminar area of our vaulted cellar.

Each room has its own individual character; bedroom 6 has a separate study, and bedroom 4 has its own south facing balcony. Bedroom 1 and  bedroom 3 on the ground floor open out onto the original Coach House cobbled yard, and bedroom 8 is accessed via a sweeping spiral staircase and its own landing. All rooms have their own en-suite bathroom, and each of them enjoys idyllic views of the Finchcocks estate and neighbouring hop fields.
